Vajramon b

Group: Exalted Beast – Level: Ultimate – Type: Vaccine – Attack Techniques: Deva Blade, Terra Blade

Vajramon is the ox Deva, who appeared in the Akihabara district of Tokyo along with Pajiramon. The duo began consuming electrical appliances to stabilise their freshly Bio-Emerged bodies, when they were attacked by the Tamers – Vajramon faced off againstRenamon, powered up with a Crystal Fire Modify Card, while Pajiramon handled Terriermon. Vajramon and Renamon seemed fairly evenly matched, neither dealing notable injury to the other, and Vajramon became quite enamoured by Renamon’s strength. When Terriermon became Rapidmon during the battle, his Tri-Beam blasted Pajiramon and also caught Vajramon, seemingly destroying them both, but Vajramon was able to reconstitute his data, and during the night, came to Renamon, and made her an offer – to come and listen to what he had to say. Renamon accepted, though Vajramon failed to realise that it was simple to gain more information on the Devas and their master.

Where the two of them went over the next day is unknown, but they reappeared the following evening in a stadium, where Vajramon explained that he had brought her there to ask her to join his side – the side of the Digimon Sovereign, a master much more fitting to Digimon than mere humans. The other Tamers and their Digimon arrived to overhear the conversation, as did Calumon, but Calumon got in the middle of it, and Vajramon attacked him, prompting the three Tamers to Digivolve their Digimon to battle him. As the fight raged, Vajramon continued to try to convince Renamon – now Kyubimon - to join his side, threatening her with destruction if she refused, and unable to conceive of why she would rather stay with Rika. When Rika then reached for a Modify Card to help her, she found a Blue Card in her deck, which she then slashed, allowing Kyubimon to Digivolve into Taomon for the first time. Disgusted by her new, more-human appearance, Vajramon attacked her, but Taomon parried his sword strikes with ease. After revealing her deception to him, Taomon used her Talisman of Light attack to destroy Vajramon.

Vajramon first appears in “Duel with the Deva.” His voice is supplied by Michael McConnohie.

Name: From “Vajra,” one of the twelve Devas from Sanskrit.
