Doctor Doom
Doctor Doom is the central antagonist of Marvel Comics, serving as the main antagonist of the Fantastic Four series, a major antagonist of the Avengers and Spider-Man series, the titular villainous protagonist of the Doctor Doom series and the titular protagonist of the Infamous Iron Man series.
He appears as the secondary antagonist of the 1984 Secret Wars storyline, the titular main antagonist of the Doomwar arc and the villainous protagonist of the 2015 Secret Wars storyline. He is the central antagonist of Marvel Comics as a whole due to being the most recurring villains in all of Marvel Comics and his often widespread intentions to not just rule the world, but the universe as well. He is the arch-nemesis of Mister Fantastic and the Fantastic Four.
Trivia[]
- In one cartoon comic series he managed to capture the Fantastic Four and planned to trap them in Outer space Black Hole void; however it was Doom that was trapped-although he managed to escape
- In one animated series [The Fanstastic Four] he holds the whole world hostage in return for just one thing: a mind challenge with the leader of the fantastic Dr Reed Richards. To his joy he actually beats Richards [although Richards admits that in order to save the world he had "rigged" it so Doom would win.
- In another animated series [Spider Man] the last episode of the series has Doom threatening to destroy the world with an outer space doom death ray; Spider man figures out the tracking code {Dooms name} and reprograms it; Dr Doom is destroyed by his own Doom death ray[although in subsequent comics he has come back to life}.
- He is similar to meglamanic villain Red Skull who also wears Mask; real face is never seen and who plans on taking over the world
