Shepard, you have become an annoyance. You fight against inevitability. Dust struggling against cosmic winds. This seems a victory. A star system sacrificed. But even now, your greatest civilizations are doomed to fall.
~ Harbinger to Commander Shepard

Villains who have excessive pride as a prominent part of their personality. Arrogant Villains, (Prideful Villains) are often overconfident in their abilities, which can lead to their defeat. They sometimes refuse to accept defeat even when it's very obvious or will keep on coming even after being defeated. These villains also rarely learn their lessons or learn from their mistakes, leading to further defeats.

Not to be confused with Egomaniacs, who are individuals suffering from an obsession with their own self-worth (though the two are often heavily confused). What really helps set these two apart is that while having an undeserved high opinion of themselves, arrogant villains also have a brazenly low opinion of others. Egomaniacs are usually too busy obsessing about themselves to have low opinions of others.
